What music means to me 3

If we forget which performers I traveled through and take music itself and then ask 'what exactly does it mean to me?' - then we come up with a pile of confusion.
Originally, it was sounds I liked to wobble to. It then became sounds I enjoyed relaxing and wobbling to. After this, it became sounds I liked to copy and sing into the air as I sped about on a push bike (I have fond memories of whizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzing down the hill of the A27 into Arundel signing Gene Kelly's 'ALL I DO', for example.)
More recently, music became a connection to people that I am friends with - usually because I like their sound or lyrics and somehow found myself getting over enthusiastic on the bands. In between these two main eras, comes the music I enjoyed because the words made sense in a world that did not, or music that was sung by people I knew, or music that saved my day - or on one occasion, my life.
Having suffered more than a year of a hellish legal attachment to a mentally sick violent human specimen, I wanted the big out - and the ONLY thing that kept me alive on that occasion was the hope that some day I might become friends with the singer of some special-to-me songs…
