The venue supports live entertainment, on-air community discussion, an unlicensed community radio service (Pirate Cat Radio 87.9fm - SF/LA), offers T-shirts and stickers, and provides organic coffee and vegan donuts amongst their 'pay-by-donation' snacks. Pirate Cat Radio has been running for 10 years, using Title 47 Section 73.3542 of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations as authorization to broadcast without a license, although an informal application has been sent along with a payment that has been cashed without response.
