El Rio is situated at 3158 Mission Street. The website is located at http://www.elriosf.com/

Summer opening hours are: M-TH-5pm, F-4pm, S-S-1pm. Closing hours is 'whenever' up to 2am.

The El Rio consists of two indoor areas and an outdoor patio. As well as live bands, you can catch DJs, film and art shows, spoken word, jams, burlesque, comedy and drag, and fundraisers. A free BBQ operates some Friday and Sundays. The bar caters to all and every 21 person. Drink specials include: $1.00 Pabst Blue Ribbon on Monday and $3.00 House Margaritas on Tuesday. They only accept cash, and have an ATM for your convenience. The club itself is wheelchair accessible - but not the bathrooms.
