Advance notice of a Valentines Day event that you can participate in from anywhere. There is an international event being organized concerning that much-loved local band, The Tubes. Organized by the Tubes Museum, details for those interested in participation are available at:

The title track to the Tubes 1985 album, Love Bomb will be played simultaneously by fans around the world on Valentine's Day 2008 at 2:14pm PST. Participants will include fans, radio stations, online music stations from around the globe as they play the song simultaneously at 2:14pm PST on February 14th 2008.
Individual participants are encouraged to contact the museum prior to the event with their names so can receive a commemorative sticker.
The countdown to the Tubes Love All Over the World event can be seen on the museum website as well as other popular networking websites available to web surfers in the 21st Century."
Murder of Lilies have a show at 12 Galaxies on January 22nd at 8pm. It is 21 and $8. 45 Is Distance and The Reverse also play.
Beatropolis, The Toy Soldiers & The Buttercream Gang are at the Rickshaw Stop on Wednesday 23rd in an 8pm/$8 show - all age.
Another Wednesday concert worth considering is at BOTH, where The Shaky Hands, Pants Pants Pants, & Winter Birds have a show. It is all-ages, 8-30 for 9PM, and $8.
