The Dickies, Count Dante, The B-Cups, & Sassy play the Red Devil Lounge on January 11th in a 21 /$15 at 8pm.
If you go to the Rickshaw Stop, 155 Fell St. on Friday, you can catch the Three Kinds of Stupid Dance Party - along with live music from Wallpaper, & 3 resident DJs. The first 100 in the doors at 9pm will get a freebie mix CD. It is 18 .
On January 12th, Poor Bailey, Built For The Sea, & Oliver Future play BOTH in an all age $10 show.

Fans of Jimmy Century play at 10pm in Betty's Rock Bar in Walnut Creek on the 12th.
The Immoral, Radio Suicide, & Cruz Missiles play Thee Parkside on the 12th. Bands play from 5-8pm/doors at 3. The venue is located at 1600 17th st.

Gates of Light formed as a 5-man progressive/alternative rock band in June of 2007. They are playing the Emergenza Festival at The Rock-it Room, 406 Clement St on Saturday Jan 12, 2008 at 9pm, where they are reported to be offering you sample material from their debut album, Angelology. For those unaware, the Emergenza Festival is a rock festival which showcases localized unsigned bands in a series of concerts. The audience rates the various performers so as to progress the preferred bands onwards to the ultimate prize of a concert in Germany.
The Privies & 5 Second Rule both play the Semi-Regional Finals of the Bodog Competition. The finals are to be held in LA during March - leading to the winning band getting to tour Europe. The show is set for The Great American Music Hall on January 13th. You can help the band of your choice by attending and giving them your live vote on the night. The venue is situated at 859 O'Farrell St., tickets are $15, and the show starts at 7pm.
