September 27th offers a new venture for those into house & electronica. 'Karma' is to be a monthly event located at Kelly's Mission Rock, 817 Terry Francois Blvd.. It is 18 entry - with 21 drinks, and the doors open at 9pm. Tickets cost $20 and can be grabbed in advance from www.groovetickets.com (You can find out further details at www.myspace.com/karmafridays)

Religious Girls, Tea Elles, and The Divine Feud play The Mansion, 1547 Revere Avenue on September 27th. The show starts at 7pm and it is suggested you offer a 43 donation.
(NB#1: This show was previously advertised with Pigeons or Panthers in the line-up, but I have heard it from the band itself that they are now to be replaced by Religious Girls.)

(NB#2: A different list claims that this show will have music from Purple Rhinestone Eagle, Divine Feud, and Mattress.)

Thee Parkside - 1600 17th St. - has a FREE show on Saturday, when Absolute Music Presents 'Boomfest 2008'. Doors open at 3pm, with music from 5pm-1am. Boom And The Legion Of Doom have their reunion, along with music from Fluff Grrl, The Jack Saints, Laugh Laugh Sing Sing, and The Tomorrowmen.

The Pirate Band plays Pirate Cat Radio Cafe from 8pm.

Myotonia have their final show on Saturday at 8-30pm, along with Savage Machiine, Omissa, and Only In Dreams. This all age show is to be at Blake's, Berkeley and cost $10.

The Valerie Orth Band have an EP release show at BOTH. Dolorata and The Attack Plan are also listed to play this 21 show.

Maldroid play a $10 show at Annie's Social Club on Saturday night. You can also catch music from Izzle and The Supacreep amongst others at this $10/9pm concert.

There is a 2-day Blues Festival at Fort Mason covering Sat. and Sun.. This all age event begins at 10am on Saturday, including music from Hot Tuna, Mannish Boys, Michael Burks, and Ruthie Foster. On Sunday, you can catch Rick Estrin And The Nightcats, Johnny Winter, Buckweat Zydeco, and Gospel Hummingbirds.


The Folsom Street Fair (Folsom St. between 7th St. & 12th St.) offers tons of music on Sunday. Amongst the tempting tastes of music, you can listen to Von Iva - who play at 3pm, The Bruises, Fans Of Jimmy Century, and Lisa Dewey And The Lotus Life. This is an all age donation based concert, starting at 11am.

Cast Of Thousands share their show with A Black Light and Airfix Kits at BOTH for $8. It is a9pm/all age show.

The Entrance Band, Little Joy, and Megapuss play a 21 show at The Independent for $15.
