October and much sooner

Keith Varon is setting up a new band. New music has been promised, along with some of Keith's more familiar songs, at a show that you might want to add to the October dates of your diary. The name of the band has not yet been decided, but the show is to be at Blake's on Telegraph on October 20th, and is 18 . I hope to post further details along with a reminder nearer the time for anybody interested in following the latest step in this talented young performer's career.
Meanwhile, Goodbye Gadget have a show at Blake’s on Telegraph in Berkeley on Friday Sep 14, 2007 at 800 PM. It is an all-age show - but you will have to pay $12 instead of $10 if you are under 21!
Now We Are Six have a show at Bettie's Rock Bar (O'Kearney's) in Walnut Creek on September 15th at 9pm and Lucky Stiffs, Hit The Switch, and The Singularity are playing an all-age show at BOTH on the 16th.
Warren Teagarden - with The Slow Poisoner and Palace Family Steakhouse - are also to play a concert at Bottom Of The Hill. This show costs $8 and is scheduled for 830pm on September 19th. Further information about the show and Warren's music is available at http://www.warrenteagarden.com Warren is selling t-shirts for $10 and CDs for $5.
As for Wednesday nights, The Owl Mag, TankFarm/Future Sounds and MyOpenBar.com present The Rumble @ Harlot. This is a free event IF you RSVP to http://www.going.com/therumble Otherwise, you will have to pay $5 to attend. This is to be a regular event occurring the first Wednesday of each month. QUOTE: "Indie fans, bands and Bay Area music industry peeps converge in the goth-glam vibe of San Francisco’s hottest new club, Harlot." Sounds great! I wish I were in town to attend!!!
In site news, I intend to shortly start posting Bay Area CD reviews, band & venue profiles and performer interviews, along with the concert dates, as a regular feature - so come back soon!
