924 Gilman hosts a couple of CD releases in their Friday night show. You can catch the latest from both the New Trust and Build Us Airplanes, as well as music from Cannons And Clouds, Spires and The Americas. The show is all age and begins at 8pm.
For those who appreciate famous names or benefit events, Cake have a Benefit show for SF Clean Energy Act at The Independent Friday evening. Tickets are over $45 and it is a 21 event.
Ride The Blinds play Annie's Social Club on the 10th October in an $8/9pm show with Hot Fog and Hot Lunch.
The Fleet Week Festival Show is on (between buildings C & D for the music stage) at Fort Mason Center, San Francisco on Saturday, October 11, 2008, starting from 4pm. Attention Bill Spooner fans!!!! - This is a great opportunity to see some live Spooner action, as he will be performing in the Kami Nixon Band.
Leopold And His Fiction play a 21 show at The Hemlock with Excuses For Skipping and The Dazzling Strangers on Saturday night.
Goodbye Gadget have a show at The El Rincon on October 11th. For $8 you can also catch solo -Dear Indugu, Fighting The Villian and Sam Vega. This show is listed to begin at 8pm.
My Revolver play 'Club Unsolved Melody' @ Kimos on October 12th from 9-30pm.
Sunday also offers a fundraiser event for City Slicker Farms at The Stork Club in Oakland. Amongst the musicians performing you can catch Apple Pie Hopes, The Clarences, Liquor Cake, Brad Electro and City Slicker Jug Band. The music starts at 4pm and tickets are under $10.
Cold Hot Crash and Middle Class Rut are amongst the bands playing a $12 show at BOTH on Sunday night. Music from Rival Schools and Innaway can also be heard in this doors at 7-30/show at 8-30pm concert.
