Bhi Bhiman plays live at El Rio, tonight at 8:30 PM. (3158 Mission St (at Cesar Chavez)) It is 21 and 8pm.
Sean Hayes is amongst the performers on Thursday night at an all age concert at the Great American Music Hall.
The Rickshaw Stop offers you NYC's The Glass, along with DJ Pink Skull/Frisco Disco Djs at 10pm - 2am on the16th. It is an 18 show, and $10 for 21 / $12 for 18 . Among the hosts is Jon Solo (Improperazzi - whose tee-shirts & website I recommend)
Goodbye Gadget and Blind Impression are amongst the bands you can catch at Iron Horse Middle School, 12601 Alcosta Blvd., San Ramon on Friday 16th. It is an all age show set for 7pm and tickets will cost you $7.
On Saturday 17th, you can hear The Frail, Maldroid, and Astral at the DNA Lounge. (That would be where I'd be heading, were I in town!!) The doors open at 9 and the live music comes on at 10-30pm.Tickets will cost $10 adv/$12 at the door. (Next week, I will be posting an album review of Astral's latest offering, 'SLEEPWALKER.')
Ex-Boyfriends have new music up - QUOTE: "We added two more songs from our forthcoming album, In With, are freshly posted on our Myspace for your listening pleasure. One is called "Situation" and it's a dance song so therefore you should dance to it. The other is called "Astronaut" and it shows off our softer side and therefore you should gaze out a rain-streaked window, crying and clutching an 8x10 photograph of us while you listen to it."
