May 18th is the date for the 97th annual Bay to Breakers 12K event. You can register at www.ingbaytobreakers.com If you have seen My Revolver's street-vid for 'Made' you will know that this event cam be fun for spectators, performers, and participants alike. This years music includes performances from: The Last Goodnight and The Crazies Will Destroy You.
May 18th is also the third round of the Emergenza Festival Battle of the Bands to be held at The Rock It Room. Waiting in Vain will be playing the show shortly after 7-30, when the doors open. Gates of Light are also playing this show.
Two Seconds have an 8pm/$8 show with Little Teeth, Tinkture, Vomica, and Thee Out Mods at BOTH on the 18th.
Zephyrs, Backlash, Say Bok Gwai, and Punchface play a benefit for American Civil Liberties Union on Sunday at Walnut Park in Petaluma. It is set for 4pm, and donations are requested.
On the 19th, you can catch the following bands at The Elbo Room, Prizehog, The New Thrill Parade, and Genesis Climber. It is a 9pm/$5 concert.
