As a part of the Three Ring Records Noise Pop 2008, Audio Out Send play Thee Parkside's Happy Hour on the 1st March. The show runs from 5-8pm and is free.
Another Noise Pop event on the 1st is at the Rickshaw Stop, with Panther, Immigrant, & Wallpaper playing an all age $10/12 show from 830pm.
A third Noise Pop event on March 1 has Mountain Goats offering a show at The Independent for $18. It is 21 and starts at 9pm, doors at 8-30.
Yet another Noise Pop event is on at BOTH, where you can catch 20 Minute Loop playing with British Sea Power, Colourmusic, & Off Campus for $14. This show is 21 and starts at 9.
Birdmonster play at Betty's Rock Bar, Walnut Creek in a 21 show with The Federalists and 2 other bands. (Get there before 9pm and you don’t have to pay $10 for a ticket, but get in for free.)
At CDN, on March 2 you can catch The Dilettantes, The Pandas, & a record release from Ricky Lee Robinson. It is a 9pm show - doors opening at 8-30. It is a 21 concert and will cost $10 at the door.
DW Holiday plays BOTH on the 2nd March as part of the Noise Pop 2008 festival. Mountain Goats are also playing and doors are set to open at noon. (Warning, only a few tickets left - avail. at the door!)
Passing on a request for a guitarist search, QUOTE: "Can anyone help me find a girl guitarist for The Minks? Body: WE are well established & get paying gig's. Our current guitarist is having a hard time juggling work, personal life,& all the gigs that have been offered to us. We need a girl who can handle the gigs we are getting offered to us. Our last show was at the bottom of the hill. We need a girl who likes the kinks or wants to play great shows. We have been offered shows recently like annie's ,cafe du nord, eagle tavern. If anyone knows a great girl guitarist that can handle the shows let us know. Preferably we would like two girl guitarist. But, looking for one is hard enough.
