Finding Mercury, soon to play Dan’s in Walnut Creek with Keith Varon, have been amongst the lucky 15 bands to be included in the KFOG LOCAL SCENE COMPILATION CD.
(KFOG is a SF area radio station)
FM’s song ‘Whisper’, available to view in video format on their Myspace page, will appear on KFOG’s ‘Local Scene 4 CD’ - soon to be available for just US$5.
QUOTE: “KFOG plans to sell up to 10,000 of these CDs to benefit Music in Schools Today, and each song featured will also receive regular rotation throughout the month of August.”
Finding Mercury performed for CD promotion reasons at a free concert yesterday in San Jose.
In other news, The Bad Hand are playing Café Du Nord on August 15th.
