JUNE 6
This Sunday you can catch Another Breath, Soul Control, Street Walkers, and All Teeth play a 5pm show at 924 Gilman for $8 - and it is an all ager. If you fancy heading out of town a bit, you can catch Veil Veil Vanish playing a show at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View. Listed as Live 105 BFD, other bands you can hear from include Leopold & His Fiction, Flyleaf, I The Mighty, and DJ Omar. It is also an all ager, and starts at noon - with entry possible at 11am. This one is a bit expensive though, costing more than $30!
JUNE 7
The Metro in Oakland gives you a $10 concert from Laudanum, Bloody Panda, Trees, and Deathroes at 8pm tonight. Although I rarely mention famous bands, preferring to list locals only, I will let you know that you can catch Crash Test Dummies at CDN if you prefer a 9pm show for either $16 or $18.
JUNE 8
Thee Parkside at 8pm gives you the chance to hear from Cheap Girls, The Mezingers, Good Knives, and The Singularity in an all ager for $7. Alternatively, BOTH’s show from The Corner Laughers, Farewell Typewriter, and The Clarences may win your favor if you are 21 and have $8 spare.
JUNE 9
Dashing Suns, Tokyo Raid, and Meta play for the 21 peeps at The Hemlock at 9 tonight - tickets are $7.
JUNE 10
There is a CD release show on tonight at GAMH from Sleepy Sun with music also coming at you from The Fresh & Onlys, Moon Duo, and DJ Britt Govea. It is listed as an all age event. You might prefer to head to El Rio to catch a 21 performance from Slippery People, Baby Seal Club, and Exit Wonderland for $5 at 8.
