Astral, Foxtail Somersault, Vir and Tomihira are all releasing CDs tonight at BOTH in a 21 show for $12 - or $10 in advance. This is a must-go (8pm) show on my list - or would be, if I were not currently stuck in England! Another happening tonight that I would love to attend but cannot is the Graves Bros Deluxe show at The Hemlock. Also playing are Juanita & the Rabbit and French band Human Toys. Triple Cobra, Scission, and Diciembre Gris have a show on tonight at The Stork Club in Oakland that is listed as 21 . Slim’s are giving you the opportunity to catch Cynic, Intronaut, and Dysrhythmia in an all ager for $17 at 8pm. The Hemlock offers you a $7 show from White Cloud, Red Blue Yellow, and The Paranoids at 9-30.

For free food and an all age show, you could head on over to catch Polkacide, Moira Scar, and Nuclear Death Wish playing Life Changing Ministries - 1629 8th Street in Oakland - for $6. The show starts at 4pm. Blakes on Telegraph also have an all age show on tonight with music from The Soft White Sixties, The Dandelion War, and Travis Bill for $10 at 6-30. The Uptown gives you Minipop, The Trophy Fire, The Hot Toddies, and Geoff Register at 9 for $10, but is listed as 21 . Fuckfest III is a free all age event that gives you a BBQ & music from a dozen bands at Warm Water Cove, 24th Street - starting at noon.

Personal And The Pizzas, Bare Wires, and Ty Segall have a show on at Columbus Cafe, 901 Columbus Avenue, that is listed as all age. You might prefer jazz night at CDN with music from Thollem, Dieterich, Shudder, John Shiurba, and Amendola - also with films of Martha Colburn - at 9 for $10. The Toadies, Dead Country, and The Famous play BOTH to the 21 crowd that have $16.
