The Blank Tapes play guitar 'with fpodbpod' at The New Parish where you can also catch Sean Hayes if you are 18 where you will find tix are a max of $20 at 9. For an album release show, you could head on over to Delores Park Cafe for an all age free show at 8 from Luke Legs or catch the release from Street Eaters at The Knockout, where you can also hear from Yi, Detach Dolls and The Fucking Ocean if you are 21 and have $5 spare at 9.


Nerd Rock Fest Night #1 is on at The Hemlock - where you can catch an 8pm show from Three Day Stubble, HogWind and a couple of out of towner bands. There are also a couple of specials going on re 'Save KUSF Benefit' - catch My Victim, Midnight Chaser, Lazerwolf and DJHs at Thee Parkside or The Standells, The Devil-Ettes, C'mon Everybody, The Bitter Honeys, a burlesque performance and several DJs at The independent at 8.

Dirty Vegas, The Frail and Polaris At Noon play a 21 show at 9pm at The Independent. Deep, Marques Wyatt and Blackcoffee have a show on at The New Parish for 21 peeps at 9. The Hemlock gives you Nerd Rock Fest Night #2 - aka music from Three Day Stubble, Chablis, John Trubee, Gyoriagyo and Merchants Of The New Bizarre - the show is on from 8. at 7-30pm you can catch Warcry, Kromosome, Negative Standards, Blighted and Deras Krig playing an all ager for $8 at 924 Gilman Street.

The Mallard, Poodles and The Woolen play a 21 show at The Hemlock for $6 at 9. Eli's Mile High Club gives you Spittin Cobras, Corruptors and Flexx Bronco for $7 at 7. Battle of the Bands is on at DNA Lounge tonight - with 30-minute sets from Kings And Crooks, Lambs Become Lions, Weslester, Tunestone, Flesh Weapon, Day Four, Inquisitor, St. Valentinez, Sugar Water Purple and Vent and it starts at 5-30pm.
