A reminder that the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in Golden Gate Park starts today. You can catch 70 bands on 5 stages for free over the full weekend. Music begins at 3pm on Friday, and continues with music scheduled for 11am-7pm on Saturday & Sunday.
Also happening tonight, Honeycut, Tussle, and Iglu & Hartly share the bill at BOTH in an all-age 830pm $10 show.

Also on the 6th, Rick Hardin plays the North Beach Festival at 3-30pm.
If you are over in Walnut Creek, you could catch 4 live bands playing at Red House, 1667 Botelho Drive in an all-age/7-30pm/$10 show.
If you are still looking for something on that date, Castles In Spain and Dolorata are amongst the bands playing a Breast Cancer Benefit at Fat City. It is a 21 show.
On the 7th you can hear one of my fav bands, Little Yellow Perfect, at 1-20pm. They are playing amongst numerous bands at the Castro Street Fair. This is an all-age show.

The Feinsmith Quartet, with special guest Scott Amendola, features Jennifer Culp on cello, Michael Manring on bass, Gyan Riley on guitar, and Christopher Taylor on piano. They perform on Monday, October 8, 2007 at 7 pm at Kanbar Hall, Jewish Community Center, 3200 California Street.
