EP REVIEW: FOXTAIL SOMERSAULT~REFLECTION
September 16th 2010 17:09
RAVEN:
A melodic tune accompanied by soft vocals with a slight touch of tinkle. Dreamy and drifty, but with enough clarity for one not to lose focus.
TO A RUNAWAY:
Building from a quiet start, this silken song turns into a track to gently sway along to. It reminds me of the lapping on shore of gentle waves from a calm sea inlet…
SIRENS:
A boppy beginning and tinny effect to the vox alters the mood slightly - but not enough to shock or shatter the calm and flowing disposition.
A LOVE SONG PART 2:
The longest song starts and fades with angelic delicacy remaining predominantly instrumental.
LULLABY:
The shortest song is also my personal fav. The sound produced throughout the track has the mind swaying along soothingly.
The 5 tracks are packaged together in a CD holder with interesting artwork using a pinkish-plum color.
