CD releases & October 18th shows.

There is plenty happening on the 18th October. My personal choice would be to go to the Rickshaw Stop to catch both the Astral and Halcyon High CD releases. Tomihira and Foxtail Somersault are also playing the all-age/8pm/$8 show. (Astral are one of my top ten bands, and I can also personally vouch for two of the other three being really great music! I would so love to be there - then I could see what that 'other' band is like, too!)
Meanwhile, Rick Hardin - alternative acoustic - plays the Park Chalet at 8-30pm.
Or you could catch Chow Nasty playing Maxwell's Lounge in Oakland in a 21 show.
Shantytown, Ride the Blinds, and Chris Jones all play the Red Devil Lounge if you prefer. This will be a 21 8pm show, costing $10.
