Friday night offers SF residents of all ages The U.S. Air Guitar Finals at the Grand Ballroom (1300 Van Ness Avenue).
You might prefer to catch Master/Slave,The Parties, and Blue Skies For Black Hearts at a 21 show at The Hemlock.
Moving onto Saturday night, you can catch Lavay Smith & Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers, and Tippy Canoe & The Paddlemen at The Uptown. The show is at 9pm and tickets will cost $10.
There is an 18 show with Immigrant, The Blacks, & New Centuries at BOTH. This is also $10 and starting at 9pm.
Casy and Brian have an all age show coming up on August 9th at 2501 Bryant Street. There are several other bands playing, including Panda. The cost of a ticket is $5.
Ex-Boyfriends, Puce Moment, and Forever play The Hemlock on Saturday 9th. The show is listed as 21 .
On August 9th, Mochipet have a CD release for Microphone Pet. The shos is set to start at 8pm and will be at Club Six, 60 6th Street.
You can catch Vancouver band China Creeps along with The Bar Feeders and Texas Thieves at The El Rio, Saturday. The concert is a fundraiser for The Bar Feeders tour, costing between $7 and $20 and is 21 .
The Up And Down have a CD release at Annie's Social Club on Saturday night. The Minks and October Allied also play this 21 show.
The Botticellis and Dominique Leone both have 12” releases at CDN on Sunday. Also playing the show is Steve Taylor. The show is 21 and $10.
