Jon Foreman and Timmy Curran play CDN on Tuesday 12th August. The show costs $14 and starts at 9-30.
The Union Trade and One Becomes One Hundred have CD releases at BOTH on the 13th. You can also catch Sacramento band The Snobs in the show, which is $8 for tickets and 21 listing.
Foxtail Somersault play CDN at 8pm on the 13th August. Strip Mall Architecture and French Disco are also in the 21 /$12 show.
Costa Nova, Big Lion, and Cartographer play a show at The Red Devil Lounge on the 14th. Starting at 8pm, it'll cost $5.
Oakland band Maxwell Adams are searching for a new guitar player, QUOTE:
"We are in the need of a guitar player for our new project. Currently, we're a drummer and bass player. We need a guitar player to help get this stuff of the ground. We have demo recorded which can be heard on purevolume and myspace.
We love the bands: Queens of the Stone Age, Shiner, Hot Snakes, Dillinger escape plan, Shiner, The Life and Times, Soundgarden, Meshuggah, Porcupine Tree and whatever sounds like those bands.
We are looking for:
-Age between 21-30
-A person with pro gear, (maybe been in a few bands before)
-Transportation
-Available to practice 3 times a week
-Ready to play shows and “make things happen”
-And a cool guy to be around
