A festival and plenty of concerts

Coming up on the 5th & 6th & 7th October is the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in Golden Gate Park. There will be seventy acts on their five stages, and these include: Austin Lounge Lizards, Bela Fleck & The Flecktones, Bill Callahan, Dale Ann Bradley & Coon Creek, Emmylou Harris, Gandalf Murphy & The Slambovian Circus of Dreams, Heartless Bastards, Hot Buttered Rum, Richard Brandenburg & The Cash Magnets, Los Lobos, Marley's Ghost, Moonalice, Mother Hips, Symphony Bluegrass Ramblers, Teddy Thompson, The Secret Life Of Banjos, and The Steep Canyon Rangers. It is a free all-age concert, starting with 3pm-7pm performances on Friday, and continuing with music at 11am-7pm on the last two days.
The Rock-It Room has shows on the 3rd and 4th October. On the 3rd you can hear Reed KD and the Armchair Aviators along with 3 other bands at 8pm. It is a $7 cover charge. On the 4th you can catch Happily Ever After They play at 9-30 but the doors open at 8 and there are other bands to hear for your admission charge. On the 5th October, you can hear Now We Are Six who are playing the Nickel City Arcade in San Jose at 7pm.
