Pressure Point, Resilience, TroubleMaker, Sad Boy Sinister and Decent Criminal play an all ager at 924 Gilman Street in Berkeley for $8 at 7-30. Megan Slankard has a CD release show on tonight at BOTH for a max of $12. Also playing are The Family Crest and Pwolf And Avi. The Uptown offers you The Chop Tops, The Revtones and Stigma 13 at 9 for $10. Mama Buzz Cafe is where to be at 7 if you want to catch Grex, Agnes Szelag and Aram Shelton tonight.

Greedy Eyes, Dead Panic, Los Putos Mejores and Dr Drung And The Possible Side effects play a show at Sub-Mission Gallery for $7 at 7-30 that is listed as all age. The Knockout has King City at 10 with DJ's Mackiveli and Taypoleon also playing – if you are 21 - it is a free show at 8-30

Sunbeam Rd., Spiro Agnew and Red Blue Yellow play a show at The Hemlock for 21 peeps with $5 at 9pm. BOTH gives you Dum Dum Girls, Dirty Beaches and out of towner's Minks in an all age show at 9 for $12. Mama Buzz Cafe has an all ager for a donation at 7 from The Lost Library, Tiny Concept and Sean McArdie. There is a 9pm show on from Dominique Leone, Mist Giant and Schande at The El Rio.

Why we need night - starting with the longest track, this CD opens with gentle rolling music leading into a harmonic piano-vocal duet before being surrounded and carried through by the rest of the band and song.

Headlands - melody and vocals blend into a calming audio experience. You cannot drift off to sleep though, as the drums bounce you back just when you mellow out into the sound. A beautiful drumful end fades the song out
