On Sunday 27 September from 4 thru 7pm, Thee Parkside has some entertainment for you. It is (QUOTE - pinched from Bill Spooner's website - www.billspooner.com): "All ages, opens @ 2pm, good food with $5 pulled pork sandwiches (yum). Big patio. Free parking. Muni 22 or 19 or 10 bus lines stop @ the bar. Lots of Kami Nixon and the Skiddy Knickers music during this 3-hour show. Lots of traditional country covers. Very twangy. Very tangy."
On Sunday, Alice 97.3 Now and Zen Fest present Train, Colbie Caillat, and Howie Day
at Sharon Meadow, Golden Gate Park. This is a free all age event starting at noon and running til 5pm.
Didimao and Swahili share the stage at The Hemlock, on September 27. Their show is 21 and $5.
Sleep Your Excellence play Kimo's tonight. Drowning Men and Repeater also play the show which starts at 9 and costs $6.
The Elbo Room gives you NZ band International Observer along with Jacob Cino and DJ Sep on Sunday. Tickets are $7 and it starts at 9.
Another daytime free event for Sunday is Last Sundays Fest. This is going on at Haste at Telegraph, Berkeley. T runs thru from 11am to 7pm and features Dizzy Balloon, Jonathan Devoto, Emily Stein, Bang Data, Paulo Presotto, Scott Albright, The Atom Age, and Emily's Army.
Also on September 27th there is an 8pm show from Chris Brown, Punto Pig and Galin Dog, Cliff Caruthers, and Critical Monkey. This show is going on at 21 Grand.
On Monday, Rain Machine play a 21 show at The Independent. Tickets are $15.
The Elbo Room offers you NY band Metalkpretty in a 21 show tonight. Tickets are $5 and it is on from 9.
