2009 shows: SEPTEMBER 21-24

Over four days, September 21-24, CDN hosts the Blue Bear School of Music Band Showcases in all age events. Tickets cost between $12 and $20.

Titus Andronicus and The So So Glos play BOTH on Monday at 9, with doors a half hour earlier. This is an all age event costing $8.

September 21st gives you a chance to grab a 7pm show from The Blank Tapes, Dufus, and Your Yellow Dress. Their show is on at The Carpentry.

There is a record release show from Complaints who play with Sharp Objects, and new band High & Tight on September 22 at The Knockout. It is a free event for 21 peeps.


On Tuesday at Amoeba Music (2455 Telegraph, Berkeley) you can catch an all age free show from Wallpaper at 7pm.

The Elbo Room gives you Jill Tracy, Eli August, and Vernian Process for $5 at 9 Tuesday night.

September 22 is when you can hear Moneybrother and Farewell Typewriter sharing a show at
The Red Devil Lounge. It is 21 and starts at 8pm.

BOTH gives you Tuesday night entertainment in the form of a 21 show from The Most Serene Republic, Grand Archives, and The Lonely Forest. Tickets are $12.

The Uptown gives you The Downer Party, The Soft White Sixties, and Shark Toy on September 23. It is a free show for 21 peeps.

Slim's gives you Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa, Of Mice And Men, and Tides Of Man on Wednesday. It is an all age event starting at 8 and tickets costs $14.

The Rickshaw Stop has Goh Nakamura, Doug Paisley, and Lesser Lights playing an 8pm show for you tonight. Tickets are $10 for this all age event.

David Dondero, Christopher Lockett, and Shaun Paul Gordon share a 21 show at The Hemlock on September 23. Tickets are $10.

The Rickshaw Stop gives you John Brown's Body and The Black Seeds on Thursday evening. The show is on from 9, doors 8-30, and is listed as all age.


On Thursday, you can catch acoustic SKA playing at at 924 Gilman from 7pm. This is listed as all age.

Cormorant have a CD release on tonight at Thee Parkside. Velnias, Fell Voices, Elm, Servile Sect, and DJ Rob Metal also play this all age show that costs $8.

OM and Lichens share a show at The Independent on September 24. It is listed as 21 and costing $15.

Mark Eitzel and Victor Krummenacher share a show at The Red Devil Lounge at 8pm on September 24. It is listed as 21 .

The Eagle Tavern gives you La Plebe, King City, and Jesse Morris And The Man Cougars, tonight. Tickets are $7 and the music starts at 9.
