2009 shows: November 7-8

Powerhouse, Doomsday Device, Alcatraz, Crucified, and Boundaries play the Ernie Cortez Memorial Show at 924 Gilman on Saturday this week. It is an all ager starting at 7-30.

Thee Parkside gives you the indie mart fall street fair this week, running from noon til 6pm. Additionally, Curmudgeon, Cheapskate, and Frankenstein L.I.V.S. will be playing a free show towards the end of the fair. Both events are all age.

Slim's gives you Tyrone Wells, Stephen Kellogg & The Sixers, and Matt Hires in an all ager at 8-30 tonight.

The Hemlock gives you The Mantles, The Finches, and Little Wings in an $8 21 showe tonight.


On November 7, BOTH gives you Mister Loveless, The Downer Party, and Holy Rolling Empire in a 21 show at 10.

The Mezzanine has a $15 show from Carl Cox, Josh Gabriel, Dutch, Drew Drop, and Jeff Taisch on for you tonight. It starts at 10.

November 7th is when you can catch a 9pm show from The Trifles and Jessica & Ramone at The Blue Six Gallery.

There are different start times given for the show from Swann Danger, Entertainment, Blessure Grave, and New Thrill Parade, at 924 Gilman on Sunday. One listing says it is on at 5, the other at 8... either way it is anall ager.

A free all ager from out of towenrs Dutchess And The Duke is on at 1-2-3-4 Go! Records (423 40th Street in Oakland) at 3pm.

KUSF are holding a Rock 'n' Swap, at McLaren Hall, 2130 Fulton Street on Sunday. It is an all ager starting at 10am for $3 - or 6am for $20.

DNA Lounge hosts battle of the bands on November 8, with music from Sagacious Past, Novak, Afterthought, Wooden Jesus, Aborticide, Apothesary, Mefitis, Asiago, The Mongols, and Royal Jam in an all ager starting at 5-30.


The Hemlock gives youa $7 show from Panther, Death Sentence: Panda!, and Shakes Gown at 9pm.

Birds And Batteries have a record release show on at CDN tonight. Playing with them are Telegraph Canyon in this $10 show.

Sunday at 8, you can hear from Hans Koch and Damon Smith and Kjell Nordeson at 21Grand.
