The Hemlock offers you the chance to catch a $7 show from TV Ghost, Photobooth, and Outdoorsmen, tonight. It starts at 9 and is 21 .
The Rickshaw Stop gives you a $10 show from Lord Loves A Working Man, The Struts, The Hi-Nobles, and The Devil-ettes at 8pm on July 30.

CDN offers you Trashcan Sinatras, Brookville, and The Music Lovers tonight for either $17 or $20.
Black Cobra, Giant Squid, Grayceon, and Cormorant Play Thee Parkside at 9 for $8 on Thursday.
Dolorata, Audrey Howard And The Misters, and Two Against One play a 21 show at Annie's Social Club for $7, with doors at 8 and show at 9.

Ami LawLess 43rd (same age as me!!) Birthday is going on at B.R.S., Richmond on Friday night. Several out of town bands along with a couple of locals play for $7 at 7pm onward for the all age crowd.
If you have tons of cash and want to hear something famous, you can head to The Greek Theatre, U.C. Berkeley to hear from Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago this Friday. It is an all age event starting at 7, but tickets come at an 'ouchy' price.
Another all age event offers you music from Sadus, Scarecrow, Concrete Coffin, Tryannosaurus Christ, and Crushdown at The Oakland Metro, tonight. Tickets are a much more affordable $10 or $12 though. It begins at 7-30.
More famous name bands are in town tonight, you can catch The Offspring playing The Warfield from 8pm. (It is reported that a few free tickets are up for grabs at samsungsummerkrush2009.com if you are interested.)
Matthew Hansen plays Blake's, Berkeley in an 18 show for $10 tonight.
Also in Berkeley, Amoeba Music, 2455 Telegraph, gives you a show from Makeme at 6pm on July 31.
It is acoustic nite at Eli's, 3629 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Oakland tonight and you can hear from The Attracted for $7 if you are 21 .
The Mumlers, Colossal Yes, and Painted Cakes play The Uptown, Oakland in a 21 show for $8 on July 31.
The Mermen play The Mystic Theater, Petaluma on Friday for the 21 crowd and either $12 or $15. Doors at 8, show at 9.
Also in Petaluma, at The Phoenix Theater, you can hear a concert from Ensnared, Pasnuta & The Maximals, Decent Criminal, and Construct X. the show is on at 8, doors 7-30, and tickets are set to $8. It is listed as all age.
There is a Food Drive For The Homeless going on at BOTH tonight. Classics Of Love, Toys That Kill, Ready The Jet, and For.The.Win play an all ager for $10 at 9 - doors 8-30.
Another special event, The Bay Bridged Fundraiser is on at The Verdi Club, 2424 Mariposa on Friday. A show beginning at 7-30 (or 8?) is offered from French Miami, Adam Stephens And The Finite Plain, Odawas, Leopold And His Fiction, and Or The Whale. You can also catch DJs John Vanderslice and Joshua Rampage. One list lists the event at 21 but another says it is all age, so you might want to check it out with the venue itself.
