2009 shows: JULY 13-15

If you want to hear fame - Tori Amos has an Oakland show going on at Paramount Theatre, Monday.

Also in Oakland, The Mission Creek Music and Arts Festival is on at Rooz Cafe, 1918 Park Blvd. You can hear from Flexions and Young Savage in this all ager on July 13.

The Veils and Other Girls share a BOTH show this week. It is all age and ticketsd are either $10 or $12.

The Elbo Room gives you Monday night entertainment in the form of In The Dust, Snakeflower 2, and Vows, this week. Tickets are set to $5 and the show is on from 9.

The Frail have a show on Tuesday at CDN. They are playing with Natalie Portman's Shaved Head and Hey Champ. This is a 21 event and is on from 9-30.


Jonathan Mann gives you two sets for free at The Uptown. The show is on from 9.

High Castle play The Hemlock, this Tuesday. The show is 21 and costs $5.

The Knockout has a free 21 show going on tonight. You can catch Pins Of Light, Iron Witch, and Pigs for free. The show is on from 10, doors at 9.

Four Year Bender play the Tiny Television CD release show at The GAMH this Wednesday. The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band also play this all ager.

Pink Mountain give you a free performance at Amoeba Music, 1855 Haight from 6pm tonight.

Dilana and Costa Nova play a 15 July show at The Red Devil Lounge. It is 21 and tickets are $13 or $15.

Kimo's gives you a $6 show from Healing Curse, Thriller, Them Kills, and Bleeding Kansas this Wednesday.

The Mission Creek Music and Arts Festival is continuing on around town tonight. You can hear from The Aerosols, Dreamdate, My First Earthquake, and Sonny & The Sunsets at The Knockout for $7 from 9, The Why Because, The Double U, and Top Critters at The Argus Lounge, 3187 Mission for $5 from 9, or Collosal Yes, The Love Dimension, 123 Picnic, and Nick Jaina at The El Rio.


So Many Dynamos, Cast Spells, and Never Knows Best play The Hemlock on July 15. It's an $8 show.

Lazer Sword, Savoy, and DJ Dials share a show at The Elbo Room from 9 - this is for the 21 crowd.
