2009 shows: February 4-6

Cannons & Clouds play The Elbo Room for $6 on February 4. It is a 21 show starting at 9.

Coyote Grace, Kitchen Fire, and Crooked Roads play The El Rio on Wednesday. This is also a 21 show and will cost $5.

If you are looking for free shows, Deeper, The Tongues, and Superfinos play The Uptown in Oakland. This starts at 9 and is for the 21 crowd.

If you are searching for all age entertainment on Wednesday, try the 8pm show at Slim's. you can catch Meshuggah, Cynic, and The Faceless for $23.

On Thursday, The Heavenly States, Birds & Batteries, Geographer, & DJ Elise can be caught at The Rickshaw Stop. The all age entertainment starts at 8.


The Hot Toddies, The Atom Age, Jokes For Feelings, and Kung Pow play BOTH in a 21 offering Thursday night. Doors at 8 for a show at 8-30.

Bare Wires, Static Static, and Fun Blood play The Hemlock on the 5th Feb. This $6 concert starts at 9.

A record release show from Abrupt is on at Your Hauz, Oakland on Friday night. Among the other bands playing this all age show are Sahn Maru and Short Changed.

The Uptown offers the 21 crowd a free concert from Grand Lake, Man/Miracle, Whispertown, and The No's on February 6.

The Benefit for the Rehabilitation of Ugandan Child Soldiers is on at McLaren Hall, U.S.F. Campus, S.F. on Friday. You can catch music from: Man/Miracle, James Rabbit, Mountain Animal Hospital, Depth Charge Revolt, Travis Hayes, A Quantum Visionary and two or three more bands from 5pm at this all age gathering. Tickets are under $10.

CDN celebrates Scott Amendola's 40th Birthday with music from Charlie Hunter, Ben Goldberg, Ron Miles, Devin Hoff, and John Shifflett in a 21 show at 8 - tickets $20.


The Bad Hand has a show with Rademacher and The Aimless Never Miss at The Hemlock on Friday night. This 9-30pm show will cost $7.

Lots of new music coming your way at BOTH on Friday - with releases from Trevor Childs & The Beholders, Hey! Brontosaurus, and Cyndi Harvell along with DJ activity from Rondo Brothers. This will cost $10 and is for the 21 brigade.

Annie's Social Club offers you a $7 performance from Memphis Murder Men, Black Dream, Stagger And Fall, and The Badman starting at 9 on Friday.
