Hot Pink Feathers and Blue Bone Express play The Red Devil Lounge on February 24. This $10 show is 21 and starts at 9pm.
Dave Mello's Birthday is on at The Argus Lounge, 3187 Mission St. on Tuesday night. It is a free show with music action from a trio of DJs: Alcoholocaust, Craigums, & Sir Polkalot. The music is on from 9 for the 21 crowd.
BOTH offers After Midnight Project, Ambience, and The Attachments on Tuesday as part of Noise Pop. Music is on from m9, doors 8-30, tickets are $8, and this one is all age.
For those wanting to catch famous dudes in town - one of the three lists I follow claims Celine Dion is playing The Hemlock for $5 on Feb. 24... (Um…?) & Blondie is on at the Fillmore if you have circa $50 spare Wednesday night.
Papercuts have a record release show on at The Swedish American Hall, 2170 Market Street on the 25th Feb. The Mountain Goats also play this all age $20 show at 7-30 (part of Noise Pop).
Still with Noise Pop, Matt Costa, An Horse, and Robert Francis are on at Slim's. They have an all age show starting at 8pm.
There is even more NP action at BOTH, where you can catch Sleepy Sun, Lumerians, True Widow, and Kings & Queens, this Wednesday. Tickets for this 21 show cost $10.
Meanwhile, The Naysayers, Pins Of Light, and Hashishians play the 'Benefit for Jesse Green's Head' at Annie's Social Club. Tickets are $10 and it is 21 .
Fauna Valetta, White Manna, Freeball & Lightning have a Wednesday night show at The Hemlock - tickets are $6 and it starts at 9.
On Thursday, Ryan Auffenberg has a show along with Martha Wainwright, AA Bondy, , and Karina Denike at Slim's. This all age $12 show is part of Noise Pop.
Also part of NP, From Monument To Masses, Crime In Choir, and Built For The Sea play BOTH in an all age show for $12 on the 26th.
Scissors For Lefty, Picture Atlantic, and Man/Miracle play a Noise Pop show at Benders - that is listed as FREE/5pm.
Unnatural Helpers and The Fresh & Only's are listed to play CDN on Thursday - two other bands play, but the lists I follow cannot make up their minds as to whom else is playing. Either way, tickets are $12, it is all age, and this too is a part of NP.
