On Saturday August 8th (a tad outter town) at The Stag (506 Main Street in Woodland), you can hear a show from Instagon, The Graves Bros Deluxe, and Human Toys at 9pm.
In the city you could choose to catch Thee Oh Sees in an 8pm show on August 8th. They play at Potrero Del Sol Park.
ND Fest is on at The El Rincon on Saturday. You can catch an 18 art and music show for $8 from Jesse Brewster, Dear Indugu, Eloy Cipriano, Kali, DJs Dr. Spook and Sausee.
August 8th gives you the chance to catch an| 8pm show a ATA from Pulse Emitter and Matthew Swiezynski, Jefre Cantu and Paul Clipson, and Grasslung and Matthew Swiezynski.
Barbara Manning & The Sleaze Tax, Woog Riots, and Best Wishes play the 9-30pm show at The Hemlock. Tickets cost $7.
The Benefit for the San Francisco Tenants Union is on at The El Rio from 4pm - doors at 3. You can catch La Plebe, The Bar Feeders, Hightower, and The Fucking Buckaroos in this Saturday show. The venue's late show is on at 10 and features The Love Me Nots, Go Going Gone Girls, and Jonny Manak And The Depressives.
Also on Saturday, there is an 8pm show from X-Ray Press, Saything, Tempo No Tempo, and The Atomic Bomb Audition. It's going on at Mama Buzz Café.
The Excuse play their final show at Annie's Social Club on August 8. You can also catch music from Get Dead!, New Tomorrow, The Singularity, and Radio Crimes. It is listed as a free show.
Benefit Nexus Playa is on at The Mezzanine for $5 at 10pm, Saturday. You can catch Mr. Projectile, Ernie Trevino, Mozaic, Pauley Unsaturated, Stridah, Little John, Aaron Jae, and Robb Green.
The Autonomous Region are playing for an hour from 11-30am at Yerba Buena Gardens as part of the Pistahan outdoor festival. You can hear them for free.

The Roger Steen Band play a show at The Park Chalet on Sunday, August 9. It is an afternoon show from 2-5pm and involves QUOTE: "an afternoon of music and outdoor dining between Golden Gate Park and the Pacific Ocean." The venue is situated at 1000 Great Highway at Ocean Beach. (This is where I would personally be starting out on my evening's entertainment, if I were in town this week!!)
Cryophonik play a show at Blake's, Berkeley along with a bunch of DJs: Tasty Cheasty, Spire, and Gate One. The show is on at 9 and costs $8.
The Stork Club in Oakland gives you a 21 BBQ (DIY) show for $5 with doors at 4 for a show at 5. You can catch out of towners Fustrations along with Primitivas and Outdoorsmen.
On Sunday, the KUSF Rock 'n' Swap is going on at McLaren Hall (2130 Fulton Street - U.S.F. it is an all age event starting at 10 for $3 entry. Early entry at 6am costs a tad more.
Sunday at 8-30pm you could choose to hear from Pumice and Common Eider King Eider at 21 Grand.
Tecumseh, Barn Owl, Oaxacan, and Squim play The Hemlock in a 21 show Sunday night for $7.
CDN brings you Agent Ribbons, Foxtails Brigade, Garrett Pierce, and Devotionals
at Cafe Du Nord, on August 9. It is a 21 event costing $10.
Thee Parkside's early show gives you Reduce To Ruin and Hang Jones as its free all age offering this Sunday.
Monday brings you music from Attitude Problem, Lozen, Canon Canyon, Tarakkian, and Sonic Tower at 818 Pine Street, Oakland in an all ager for $5 at 7pm.
BOTH offers you Monday night entertainment in the for of Casiokids, The Wave Pictures, and Slow Club for either $10 or $12.
August 10 brings you the opportunity to catch Phantom Kicks, Farewell Typewriter, and All My Pretty Ones playing The Elbo Room for $5 at 9.
