2009 shows: AUGUST 23-25

On Sunday, Jay Reatard can be heard playing at Amoeba Music (2455 Telegraph Av.) Berkeley for free from 6pm. It is listed as an all age event.

Secret Circuit, Weave, Jason Grier, and Myles Cooper play Kimo's on Sunday. The event is 21 and costs $7.

Sunday at 8, you can catch Paula Frazer and The Shores playing a show at The Make-Out Room.

The Rock Make Music & Art Street Festival is on at Treat Street between 17th and 18th today. Music starts at 11am and comes from Tartufi, Music For Animals, The Dont's, The Ferocious Few, Geographer, Magic Bullets, Odawas, Low Red Land, Boneless Children Foundation, The She's, The Psychotherapists, Two Sheds, Photons, and Secret Cat. It is an all age event and is also free.


The Etiquette Lounge (1108 Market Street) gives you a 21 show from 8pm from Delta Mirror, Franco Near Death, Once Was A Man, and Borneo on August 23.

Foreign Cinema, Maggie Morris, and out of towners' Ghosties play The Hemlock tonight for $6 at 9.

Six Organs Of Admittance and Master Musicians Of Bukkake have an 8pm show on at The Independent for $12 for the 21 crowd this Sunday.

August 23rd gives you a 5pm show from Elise Baldwin, Loachfillet, Coagulator, and Meatporkmammy's Cocksucking Manshed to be played at 199 San Jose Street.

On Monday, you can hear from Pins Of Light and Libyans from 6pm at The Hemlock for $5.

Ralph Youtz, Harsh Sunshine, and Bad Assets give you a Monday night show at Kimo's. Tickets are $6 and it is a 21 event.

Fruit Bats play Amoeba Music (1855 Haight) in a free sow from 6 - listed as all age.

BOTH gives you The Downer Party and Scott Allbright tonight for $10 at 9 - doors at 8-30.

The Hemlock has a pair of shows for you on Tuesday. At 6pm for $5 you can hear from Box Elders and Traditional Fools. Pharmakon, R. Jencks, and Orhima play at 9-30 for $5.


Also on August 25th, there is an 8pm show from Kwisp, Matt Inigalls, Noel Von Harmonson, Z Bug, and Hogwind playing at The El Rincon.
