2009 shows: AUGUST 14-15 & an advance notification

Instant Asshole, Liquid Pain, and We Must Dismantle All This are among the bands playing Your House in Oakland on Friday. The show is listed as starting at 7-30 and being all age.

Also in Oakland at The Oakland Metro you can catch a show from Mystic Knights Of The Cobra, Soft White Sixties, Pocos Perro Locos, Nosebleed Academy, and The Moonlight Orchestra. This is also an all ager and tickets will cost you $10.

The Benefit for Youth Movement Records/Hands On Disaster Response provides you a show from Wendy Darling, The Pinstripe Rebellion, The Refunds, and Loudmouth Yank playing

19 Street Theater, 19th & Telegraph Avenue, also in Oakland. This is also an all ager and begins at 7.

Another Oakland show is on at The Uptown, where you can catch The Hot Toddies, Vitamin Party, and Mister Loveless in a 21 show, listed in one list as part of the Benefit to save San Francisco's All-Ages Music Venues, at 9.

Friday gives you 15 Years of Om Records at The Mezzanine, with music from Mark Farina, Metro Area, DJ Fluid, and The Whooligan among the entertainment. It starts at 10 and is 21 .

The Gomorran Social Aid And Pleasure Club have an album release show going on tonight at BOTH. Also playing the show are Khi Darag!, Brian Kenney Fresno, and Last Night's Fling All-Star Burlesque. Tickets cost $10.

August 14 gives you 3RD Rail at Blake's in Berkeley this week. The show is 18 and tickets cost $10.

There are a few MR&R/Thrillhouse S.F. is Doomed Fest concerts going on tonight. Bananas, Underground Railroad To Candyland, Love Songs, Shangalang, and Rvivr are playing one at SubMission Art Space for $5 at 8. Conquest For Death, Acephalix, Tuberculosis, NN, Descarados, and Adelitas play one at Thee Parkside for $5 at 8. Flood, Pigs and Danger Stranger have one at Kimo's for $5 at 8. And lastly, Annie's Social Club bring you a show for $5 at 6pm from Bad Friends, Complaints, and new band The Keeners.


August 14 gives you a show at The Phoenix Theater, Petaluma from Mental Conflict, Body Or Brain, Nana de Carlo, and Waters. Tickets are $8 and it is all age.

On Saturday, Lion Of Judah, Give, A Mind, Foreign Nature, and Face The Rail play
924 Gilman in an all ager for $7 at 7:30pm.

The Oakland Art & Soul Festival is on in Downtown Oakland this Saturday. Among the music providers you can catch are Will Downing, Bobby Caldwell, Dayna Stephens, Sepia, Mo'Fone,
Jump Street, Local Voices, Rosa los Santos, and Ramana Vieira. It is an all age event starting at noon that costs $10.

CDN gives you The Fighting Supaks, Paleface, Ledbetter And His Best Best from 9 tonight. The show is listed as 21 .

The Mezzanine brings you a 21 show from Skip, Shindog, DJ Low-Life, Aaron Axelsen, and Melting Girl. Tickets are $12 and it starts at 9.

The Benefit for East Bay Innovations is on this Saturday, bringing you music from Dead Souls a couple of tribute bands, The Hormones, and DJ Squid at The Uptown, Oakland. The show is 21and starts at 9.

In MR&R/Thrillhouse S.F. is Doomed Fest entertainment tonight you can catch 50 Million, Screaming Females, Shellshag, Kreamy Lectric Santa, and Reaction playing Thee Parkside in an all ager for $5 at 8. 666 Hell on earth show is also a part of this and plays at SubMission Art Space for $5 at 8. Here Comes A Big Black Cloud, Stoned At Heart, Shang-A-Lang,
Street Justice, and Crimewave play the event at 29th Street House, 84 29th Street for $5 at 2pm if you fancy some early music.

If you are looking for a free show this Saturday, Dubious Ranger, Static Mind-FI, and James Devane play an all ager at Brainwash, 1122 Folsom Street from 7-30. You might prefer the New People Building Celebration event at J-Pop Summit Festival, Japantown that offers you music from Omodaka, Dokidoki Shop Girls, TsuShiMaMire, Noodles, and Redd Bacteria Vaccuum from 12-45.

Leopold & His Fiction play The Hemlock Saturday night. Also in the show are Spyrals and Candy Apple. It is listed as 21 with tickets at $6.

Also on August 15th, there is an 8pm show from Basshaters, Sep, and Windowpain Industries at 238 Missouri Street.

A tad out of town at Petaluma you can hear The Disciples, Holy Rolemodel, The B-Cups, Nontoxic, and Entangled at The Phoenix Theater in an all age show for $8.

On September 27, you can catch Pepper playing The Phoenix in Petaluma. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $20. You can now grab your tickets from the Last Record Store in Santa Rosa & Back Door Disc in Cotati.
