Formerly known as El Balazo, Old Balazo and Balazo 18 Art Gallery, Sub-Mission Art Space can now be found in the Mission district at 2183 Mission Street. Their history is extensive with a relocation, the threat of closure due to City Hall regulations for licensing, and various changes of name across the years.
