On 1 and 2 April, the Blue Bear Band Showcases are performing at CDN. Shows are all age and start at 7-30pm, doors an hour before. (They are also on @ CDN for March 30/31.)

Victory Drive play The Underground Café Roseville on April 3rd at 7pm. The Paper Melody and March Into Paris are also listed as performing

A half dozen bands including At Our Heels and Don't Trip play the Oddstad Gallery - 1472 Oddstad Dr., Redwood City - on March 30. It is an $8/5-30pm show.

Murder Of Lilies and a bunch of DJ's play Annie's Social Club on March 30th. The band is live at midnight. Tickets cost $5

On March 17th at CDN, you can catch a 'St. Patrick's Day Bash' show including Jetboy & The Frail, with doors at 8/show at 8-30pm. It is a 21 event and tickets cost $10/$12.

The Presidents Of The United States Of America play at the Great American Music Hall on Tuesday 18th March in an all age concert

Along with artwork by Lisa Alonzo & Hernan Battiato, music from Silver Griffin, Pills and Jackets, Toy Soldiers & DJ Roy O'Bblivion is provided at CDN - doors 8-30/show 9-30pm - on March 14th. It is a 21 event and costs $10 if tickets are purchased in advance, but $12 at the door.

Bassy Stacy is playing a show hosted by Peps at The Balazo Gallery, 2183 Mission St. at 8pm on March 14th

Offering six tracks, all written and performed by Mano Dio Gracias who also created the accompanying booklet, this 2007 release CD costs only $5, yet gives a unique experience of non-commercialized music. If top-40 music leaves you shuddering in disgust & you are searching for something that is different, interesting, original and requiring some contemplation, then this CD should be on your shopping list.

Clouds In Oakland combines soft tinkling and high trembling with a whirring. It comes across akin to the combination of an ice-cream van, 1970's ballad, & space-effects
